Finals & Game 2 of the All Star Game Inside The finals came down to two of the NXL expansion teams - Tampa Bay Damage and SD Aftermath. Top teams like the Russians were eliminated early on. Dynasty, Ironmen, Xfactor, and Infamous were knocked out as well.
It came down to Damage and Aftermath. Although both teams had their share of experienced players, the players looked nervous and played very cautiously. Neither team wanted to make a mistake. Points were long and drawn out as players gradually advanced up the field and played a tight game, waiting for their opponents to screw up. After a brief rain and wind delay, Damage earned the win 5 to 3.

Dynasty won the Mid Atlantic Paintball Open, beating Ironmen convincingly 9 to 3. Dynasty, who was playing well during the prelims, picked it up on Sunday and pulled it together to win the event. It was a big win for Dynasty who has played phenomenal in virtually every event in the last few years, but for one reason or another barely missed out on 1st place. Ironmen played well, but they were never able to command the shooting lanes like Dynasty was.
The PSP MAO is underway in Rock Hill, SC at PBC Sports Park. Following up on the Phoenix Open, which Infamous won, the NXL has introduced some new changes to the rules.
Two fifteen minute halves go to 9 points instead of 7. The penalties have also been shortened.
